Bacon Wrapped Shrimp
Bacon Wrapped Shrimp is a simple appetizer (or side!) for a little surf and turf with tart and naturally sweet cherry balsamic glaze.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Wrap bacon around shrimp starting at the head and twist to the tail. Secure with a toothpick vertically through the head. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet and put in oven for 30-35 minutes.
  3. While shrimp are cooking, put cherries in blender and pulse until pureed. Put balsamic glaze in a sauce pan, add cherries and heat on medium low heat until shrimp are done.
  4. Remove shrimp from oven, lay out on serving tray and drizzle balsamic glaze. Serve immediately.
