Oven S’mores for Valentine’s Day or at any craving for marshmallows & chocolate.

Hi loves! I am going to be full-blown cheesy for today’s post and also give you a last-minute idea for Valentine’s Day dessert. I am a little late to the party, but you can always continue the celebration and make S’mores at home any day of the week. They are delectable with champagne, quick to put together and only require four ingredients. Grand Marnier S’mores for the win.

Firstly, I love that Valentine’s Day is about love, regardless of relationship status.  I will be cheersing Galentine’s Day this weekend for Breakfast, Brunch and Booze with the girls, Elin and I will be making a surf and turf dinner in on Tuesday and I will be perusing my Warm Fuzzies Pinterest board for adorable puppies all week.  Whether you have the best girlfriends in the world to celebrate, a man that makes you happy everyday, a pet to snuggle or your little ones (they are always little to you, right?), remember that love comes in all shapes and sizes. What is your plan to celebrate love this week?

Oven S’mores is my first stab at dessert options on The Jolly Hostess.

Secondly, I’ve been somewhat hesitant to add desserts to the hostess mix due to the fact that I’m lousy baker.  I am a wild and free cook, throwing in this and that and measuring later.  Are you that way? However, with current inspiration, I’ve been experimenting with desserts that have easy prep, may not require baking (although, I’m not counting it completely out!) and will cure your sweet tooth craving for the next cocktail party.  For my first #thejollyhostess dessert, I present Grand Marnier S’mores.

Why I love these Oven S’mores at home.

  1. The Jolly Hostess twist this week will blow your guests away (how cute are these?!), but can be thrown together in 10 mins or less (I love using Ramikens to Grand Mariner S’mores, buy here!).
  2. These adult s’mores with a touch of orange liquor, dark chocolate and lightly browned gooeyness are perfect for two and are wonderfully complimented by a bottle of champagne.  Enjoy with whomever your love bird may be!

Instructions
  1. Microwave dark chocolate morsels for 45 secs, stir in Grand Marnier and microwave for 20 more secs.
  2. Place 1 graham cracker square in each ramekin and top with 2 marshmallows. Broil for 1-2 mins or until you've achieved the level of burnt you love. Lightly browned for me!
  3. Top each marshmallow with chocolate, then in between the marshmallows. Top with crushed graham crackers.
  4. Pour two glasses of bubbly and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes

Is your next party a birthday party for one of your little ones? Take out the Grand Marnier and serve in plastic bowls for a non-messy, at home s'more.  The kids will love it.
