I am a dip queen! Please tell me you are. When it comes to comfort food, grilled cheese is at the top of the list, but I won’t eat it without tomato soup (picky much, right?!). The tomato soup is simply there for dipping and I’m transported to a cabin in the woods, complete with a warm fire, plaid blanket and a black lab at my feet (hello Indy!). In an effort to make dipping easier and to add even more melty to this comfort food favorite, I created the grilled cheese roll.
The Grilled Cheese Roll follows the same process as Panko Ravioli and Frivacados – and also allows for seamless dipping (win!). Here’s how it’s done:
- Use a rolling pin (or wine bottle if you don’t have one!) and flatten out bread.
- Add cheese. Roll.
- Dip in egg and panko crumb mixture.
- Heat up in skillet until you see that gooey cheese.
- Endless dipping (double dipping is totally allowed) into Roasted Tomato Soup.
