Sage Simple Syrup
Lemon Rind
Instructions
  1. Pour the first three ingredients, along with ice, into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake.
  3. Fill glasses and top with prosecco.
Sage Simple Syrup
  1. Add sugar, water and sage leaves to medium-sized pan. Bring to a broil.
  2. set to medium heat. Let simmer until sugar has dissolved.
  3. Take off heat and let sit for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove sage leaves and refrigerate. Simple syrup is good for 2 weeks, covered in the fridge.
Lemon Rind
  1. Using a rind peeler, make several strips of rind. Cut in half if needed. Let sit until ready to use. Curl the rind around your finger and press. Place on rind of champagne flute.
